The increase in real estate values is observed all over the world, and Georgia is no exception. The cost per square meter in Batumi over the past two years has increased by more than 21% - from $750 to $913.
This trend is due to the increasing attractiveness of the capital of Adjara: in the summer of 2023, Batumi welcomed 56% more tourists than the previous year. And from 2019 to 2023, the number of tourists increased by 24%.
Other factors influencing the increase in demand include: the opportunity to get a residence permit with investments in real estate starting from $100,000, low taxes, a reduction in the key interest rate, and inflation at the 3% level.
